Life from the Playpen Meal Plans
I am so excited that the Life From the Playpen Meal Plan is finally here!! As a working-mom, I recognize that dinner time can be overwhelming! How many times have you left for work and forgotten to take meat out of the freezer for dinner that night? Or how about coming home from a busy day at work only to realize that your fridge is empty and that you need to go to the grocery store? I've been there on more than one occasion, which is why I know that this meal plan works!
The goal is to simplify meal time by getting dinner on the table in 35 minutes or less and by using ingredients that are accessible and versatile! As for those picky eaters in the family? I've got it covered too! I've done my best to include substitutions, additions or optional ingredients for each recipe! This gives you the opportunity to cater to your family's taste buds because I know how important (and annoying) that is.
Life can be chaotic and if you have multiple schedules to coordinate, I've thought of you too! Some meal plans out there have scheduled your weekly menus for you (not taking your busy schedule into consideration) and often have you cooking dinner every night! I know that's not realistic which is why it was important to me to create a meal plan that was approachable and achievable!
In this meal plan, I’ve provide you with 3 different weekly recipes that you can cook according to YOUR schedule while also allowing yourself to have those weeknight dinners that involve pre-made meals or take-out (because that's totally normal)!
I want you to enjoy the time you spend in the kitchen while having time left in your night for your family! So I've created recipes that will take a maximum of 35 minutes to put together. I've also streamlined your weekly grocery shopping process by including only the ingredients that you'll need for dinners that week! Don't worry though, I've left space on the grocery list for you to add items that you'll need for breakfasts, lunches and snacks!
I've worked hard to create a meal plan that will work for the everyday family! In this meal plan, you can expect recipes like: Cauliflower Mac & Cheese, Everything Bagel Chicken Wings (which are as delicious as they sound) and Shrimp Fajita Bowls (because you can never go wrong with Tex-Mex). Each month, there will be new recipes for your family to enjoy and as the months go by, you will build a beautiful collection of recipes that you can rotate between! So when your confidence builds up in the kitchen and you decide to cook more than 3 times per week, you can include recipes from previous Life From the Playpen Meal Plans into your meal calendar!
